Student Leadership Teams co-create youth-centred initiatives

There are three main goals:

YOUTH CYBERZONE TRAINING AND MENTORING

Student leadership teams are trained in Cyber Savvy Schools Programme to become catalysts in their schools. The YCZ teams meet regularly to plan initiatives, provide peer support and to be an important link with teachers. Click to find out more

YOUTH CYBERZONE PRO-SOCIAL EVENTS

The YCZ team collaboratively develops and facilitates initiatives and events at school each term to raise awareness of online bullying and keeping yourself safe. Click to find out more

YOUTH CYBERZONE COMMUNITY

The YCZ team will connect and collaborate with different school groups (ie. PSSP, Postive Behaviour 4 Learning etc) and/or community organisations for bigger initiatives like Pink Shirt Day, Youth Week and other national and international days. Click to find out more

This video was made by our YCZ teams for Pink Shirt Day 2018 - it was used to increase awareness of possible interventions that can be used in an on or offline bullying situation.
